You can send money the bank account of your supplier or business partner. For your account safety, we require you to add a third-party account as a new payee and get verified before you make the payout.
| Step 1 – Add a third-party account as a new payee
- In your WorldFirst dashboard, go to “Payees“
- Click on “Add a new payee” on the top-right corner
- Select “Single payee“
- In the next page, first select “Third-party account”, and then choose the account type accordingly
- In the next page, select your account country and the currency you’ll send payments in
- Then, enter the third-party account details as required
- In the next step, you’ll be asked to verify with the Authy App or with an SMS message
- After the authentication, your account will either be immediately approved, or we will request more actions from you in 24 hours. You’ll be able to see the approval status and additional actions required under “Payees” > “Third-party account” > “Actions“, where we may ask you to upload additional documents
| Step 2 – Make payments to a third-party account
- Once a third-party account has been added and verified, you could go to “Payments“. Click on “Send & withdraw“. Select “single payee“, and select a third-party account as the payee
- In the next page, enter the amount you’d like to send in either your funding currency or the currency your payee receives
- Select if you’d like to send the payment now or schedule the payment for later
- If the payment is scheduled for later and a currency conversion is involved, we will default to booking a currency forward if the currency pair is supported
- If the currency pair is not supported for currency forward, your conversion rate will be the spot rate at the time of the transfer
We support forward contracts in all G10 currency pairs, with a few additional European and South East Asia currencies if you are a UK, EEA, ANZ customer. Your final conversion rate may differ from the current spot rate depending on your scheduled time. We may also require an initial deposit from you a few days before the scheduled transfer time.
- In the next step, you’ll be asked to verify with the Authy App or with an SMS message
- Once the verification is done, you’ll be shown a summary of your transaction details. By clicking on “Confirm payment“, you’ll have completed a payment to a third-party account
