You can withdraw your WorldFirst balances into an external bank account. The owner of the account must be the same as the registered account owner at WorldFirst. Before you make the withdrawal, you’ll need to add your own account as a new payee and get verified.
| Step 1 – Add your own account as a new payee
- In your WorldFirst dashboard, go to “Payees“
- Click on “Add a new payee” on the top-right corner
- Select “Single payee“
- Choose “Your own account” and select the account type you want to link to: “Personal account” or “Business account”
- In the next page, select your account country and the currency you’ll receive payments in
- Next, enter your account information
- In the next step, you’ll be asked to verify with the Authy App or with an SMS message
- WorldFirst will send a small amount of funds to your bank account. Please go to your bank portal to check the amount sent and enter the amount into the WorldFirst portal
- Your account will either be immediately approved, or we’ll let you know of the result in 24 hours. You’ll be able to see the account’s approval status under “Payees” > “Same-name account“
| Step 2 – Initiate a withdrawal to my own account
- Once your same-name account has been added and verified, go to “Payments“
- Click on “Pay“
- Select “single payee“, and select “World Account Transfer” or “Zyla Transfer” and then fill in the Receiving ID of another World Account
- In the next page, enter the amount you would like to withdraw
- Select if you’d like to send the payment now or schedule the payment for later.
- If the payment is scheduled for later and a currency conversion is involved, we will default to booking a currency forward if the currency pair is supported
- If the currency pair is not supported for currency forward, your conversion rate will be the spot rate at the time of the transfer
We support forward contracts in all G10 currency pairs, with a few additional European and South East Asia currencies if you are a UK, EEA, ANZ customer. Your final conversion rate may differ from the current spot rate depending on your scheduled time. We may also require an initial deposit from you a few days before the scheduled transfer time.
- Next, you’ll be shown a summary of your transaction details. By clicking on “Confirm payment“, you’ll have completed a withdrawal to your account
