WorldTrade is a B2B payment and order management platform that enables wholesale buyers and sellers to complete sales in a more efficient, transparent, and cost-effective manner.
As a buyer, you can pay for your orders with credit/debit cards at competitive rates or with your WorldFirst balance. You can get the latest statuses on your orders and your payments won’t be released to sellers until your orders are shipped.
Please note that as a WorldFirst user, WorldTrade will not be activated on your World Account until you have received your first order from your seller. To activate WorldTrade, please ask your seller to send you an order. Once received, you will get an email and be notified in your World Account.
Paying for an order
| Step 1 – Retrieve your order
- If you’re expecting an order from your seller, you’ll receive an order payment request on your email. Click on the link to view your order
- You’ll then see a partially anonymized order details page
- If you’re an existing WorldFirst user, you can sign in directly by clicking on “Log in to WorldFirst”
- If you’re a new user, you can proceed to register
| Step 2 – Activate WorldTrade services
- If you’re new to WorldFirst, you can click on “Register now” to start the registration. Here you’ll need to enter your account details such as your country/region, account type, account name, login password, etc
- Please read and agree to the agreements related to WorldTrade to register and activate WorldTrade services
| Step 3 – Confirm order details
- After successful activation, you’ll be redirected to the WorldTrade order page, where you can view the details of the order
- If you have any objections to the order, you can renegotiate with your seller and click on ”Cancel order“ to cancel the order
- If you have no objections, you could click on “Confirm and pay” to proceed to payment
| Step 4 – Complete payment
Pay with World Account balance
- If you’ve activated the World Account before, you can use the USD balance in your World Account to pay for the order
- The World Account is a one-stop solution that allows businesses to collect multi-currency payments, make currency conversions, and make payouts in 92 currencies to global suppliers
- If you haven’t activated the World Account yet, you can click on “Verify now” and go through a few business verification steps to open the account
Note: If you’re based in the US and have a Zyla account, you will not be able to log in and pay with your balance at the moment. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Pay with credit/debit cards
- If you’re paying with a card, select “Add credit/debit card” and enter your card information
- Please note: A service fee will be incurred at the time of payment. You can negotiate with the seller to determine who should bear the service fee and reach an agreement before the seller drafts the order
- Transaction service fee = payment amount * service fee rate
*The default service fee rate for credit or debit card is 2.9%. The final rate will be displayed on the checkout page.
- If your credit card supports USD/GBP/EUR payments, you can click on “Paying in…” on the right hand side to select the payment currency. The seller will eventually receive USD
Note: Your bank or card issuer may charge fees on international transactions, depending on your location. If you make a payment in a currency other than the stated payment currencies, your credit card issuer or bank may charge you a currency conversion fee or exchange processing fee. Please be aware that WorldTrade has no control over these charges. Should you have any questions, please contact your bank or credit card issuer for more information.
- Confirm the payment details and click on ”Pay now“ to complete order payment. Please wait for a moment until the payment is displayed as successful
Order management
Confirm order delivery
- You can view all the orders you’ve received by clicking on “WorldTrade – Order management” in the navigation bar. You can click on “Order details” to view the status of the order
- Once the sellers have shipped the items, you will be able to view shipping status and details on your order details page
- Once the shipment arrives, please click on “Confirm delivery”
Note: Depending on the shipping method, if you do not manually confirm delivery, the system will automatically confirm delivery a designated period of time after the seller has shipped the goods.
●Sea freight: the system will automatically confirm delivery after 60 natural days;
●Non sea freight: the system will automatically confirme delivery after 30 natural days.
Cancel order
- In “Order management”, you can find the cancellation button by clicking on the “…” menu of the corresponding order. Only unpaid and unshipped orders can be cancelled
- You will be able to find all your cancelled orders in “Order Management”-“cancelled”
Order request management
You can send an order request to your seller to prompt or remind them to draft an order for you. You can make requests and manage your requests by clicking on “WorldTrade – Order request” in the left navigation bar.
Send an order request to your supplier
- To draft and send a request, click on the “Draft order request” at the top right corner of the page
- You’ll be asked to fill in seller and product information
- Please make sure that seller’s email is filled in correctly as the seller will receive the order request via email. After the request is received, the seller will draft a WorldTrade order based on the product information you provided
- You can add products or contracts
- Up to 30 products can be added at a time
- Please note that the shipping and payment plan will be shown in the final WorldTrade order after the seller confirms your order request
- Click “Send”, your order request will be sent to the seller
- You can also generate a web link of the order request by clicking on “Copy link” and send the request to the seller via messenger
Manage order requests
- By going back to the home page of “Order request”, you can view the order requests you’ve made and manage them
- You’ll be able to filter the requests by status – pending confirmation, seller rejected, or buyer cancelled
- If the seller has not responded to your request, you can click on the “Remind the seller to confirm” botton to send them an additional notice
- If you would like to recall a request, you can click on the three-dot menu button on an order and click on “Cancel”. Your request will then be recalled
- If a request has been cancelled by you or rejected by the seller, you can also delete the request and remove it from your record
Payment history
You can have access to the payment history by logging in to your WorldFirst account and go to the dashboard, clicking “Payment history” in the left navigation bar to enter the payment history page. The payment history provides various features to help you view and manage all payment records.
View payment details
You can view payment details by clicking the “Details” next to any payment record. The details page provides key information such as transaction type, payment type, and payment method. This allows you to gain a clearer understanding of the specifics of each payment, ensuring transparency and traceability. You can find the original order by clicking “Order number”.
If your payment fails, you can find more information by clicking on the “Details”. This will provide you with the specific reason why the payment was not processed successfully. Also, you can find the original order by clicking “Order number”.
To view the details of the associated order of a refund record, you can click on “Original payment information” and have access to the details of the original payment. Similarly, clicking on “Related refund information” you can view the details of the refund.
View order details
Click on the order number in the payment record, and the page will navigate to the order details page. Here, you can view basic information about the order, such as order status, payment amount, buyer and seller information, shipping and delivery details and product information. This helps you understand the order’s processing status comprehensively.
